Backtester Settings
The Settings → Backtester tab manages the token used by the Local Backtester.
Token Access
The local backtester token is available to lifetime members. The token lets the standalone backtester verify your Crodl account without using your exchange API keys.
Generate or Copy Your Token
- Open Settings → Backtester in Crodl.
- If this is your first visit, Crodl generates the token automatically.
- Click the copy button.
- Paste the token into the local backtester login screen.
The backtester token is not an exchange key, but it still grants access to your local backtester entitlement. Do not share it publicly.
Rotate Your Token
Rotate the token if it was exposed or if you want to force old local sessions to log in again.
- Open Settings → Backtester.
- Click Rotate Token.
- Confirm the rotation.
- Copy the new token into any local backtester instance you still use.
Rotating the token immediately invalidates the old token.
