Trading Terminal
Crodl has two trading surfaces, reachable from the sidebar:
| Surface | Sidebar label | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
Terminal (/main) | Terminal | Manual trading — chart, Trade Ticket, positions, orders |
Automations (/trading-terminal) | Automations | Webhook trigger automations — create, manage, and fire open/close triggers |
The Automations page has no chart and no direct order form — it is dedicated to triggers. All manual trading happens in the Terminal.
The Terminal
The Terminal combines a full-screen chart with dockable trading panels:
- Chart — Crodl's own chart engine (not TradingView): drawing tools, built-in indicators, Rune scripts, multi-chart layouts, and chart alerts
- Trade Ticket — the order form docked next to the chart (the "Trade" panel)
- Dock panels — Trade, Watchlist, Active Positions, Open Orders, Triggers, Balances, Order History, 30D PnL, Calendar, and Practice (replay paper-trading)
Use the exchange selector to switch between connected exchanges, then pick the API key to trade with. Positions and open orders stream in over a live WebSocket connection.
Trade Ticket
The Trade Ticket places orders through Crodl's trade execution pipeline with a single click.
Order Types
| Type | Behavior |
|---|---|
| Market | Executes immediately at the best available price |
| Limit | Rests on the book at your price until filled |
| Chase | Posts a maker order and reprices it as the book moves, up to your ceiling / floor. See Limit Chaser |
For limit orders, a time-in-force selector controls how the order rests:
| Time in force | Behavior |
|---|---|
| GTC | Good till cancelled (default) |
| IOC | Fills what it can immediately, cancels the rest |
| FOK | Fills entirely at your price or cancels entirely |
| Post Only | Guaranteed maker — cancelled if it would fill immediately |
Exchange capabilities differ slightly: Hyperliquid supports GTC and IOC only, and Bitunix close orders are market-only. The ticket only offers what the selected exchange supports.
Order Settings
- Open / Close mode — the ticket switches between opening new positions and reducing existing ones; close orders are sent reduce-only
- Sizing — percentage of balance, amount, asset quantity, or risk-based sizing (size derived from your stop-loss distance and a fixed risk amount)
- Leverage — 1x up to the pair's maximum, fetched live from the exchange (up to 150x on major pairs, exchange dependent)
- Margin mode — isolated or cross
- TP/SL — attach take-profit and stop-loss to any entry
Confirmations
Orders submit with one click. Orders with a notional value of $10,000 or more additionally require an explicit confirmation dialog before they are sent. There is no setting to disable this safeguard.
Managing Positions
From the Positions panel (or the Active Positions tab on the Automations page), each position row offers:
- Close — market close with a percentage selector (partial or full), behind a confirm dialog
- Flash Close — immediate 100% market close
- Reverse — close the position and open the same size on the opposite side, at market
- TP/SL — edit take-profit / stop-loss for the whole position or a partial size
- Leverage — adjust leverage on the open position
See Positions for details.
The Automations Page
The Automations page is where trigger-based trading lives:
- Open Triggers and Close Triggers tabs — create and manage reusable trade configurations
- A trading data section below with Active Positions, Open Orders, Executed Triggers, Order History, and Allocation IDs tabs
Triggers fire manually, from TradingView alerts, or from any webhook source. See Order Flow for the full walkthrough.
