Account Setup
After creating your account, take a few minutes to configure your settings for the best experience.
Profile Settings
Navigate to Settings → General to update your profile:
- Username — Your display name in the application
- Email — Used for login, notifications, and account recovery (must be verified)
- Privacy — Toggle anonymous public profile on or off
Security Setup
Two-Factor Authentication
We strongly recommend enabling 2FA:
- Go to Settings → General
- In the Two-Factor Authentication section, click Set up 2FA
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app and enter the code to confirm
- Save your recovery codes securely
Passkeys
For passwordless login, register a passkey:
- Go to Settings → General
- Click Add passkey
- Use your fingerprint, face, or hardware security key
Register multiple passkeys (e.g., laptop fingerprint + phone) so you always have a backup login method.
Security Best Practices
Never share your API keys or Crodl login credentials with anyone. Our team will never ask for your passwords or keys.
- Use a strong, unique password for your Crodl account
- Enable two-factor authentication on both Crodl and your exchanges
- Create separate API keys for Crodl (don't reuse keys)
- Regularly rotate your API keys for added security
- Only grant read and trade permissions — never withdrawal access
Membership
Crodl requires an active membership to use the platform. Signing in without one shows a full-screen Membership required screen — there is no free tier to browse from. Access comes from one of these paths:
| Path | How you get it |
|---|---|
| Monthly / Yearly / Lifetime | Choose a plan and complete checkout |
| Trial | Granted automatically when you signed up through another user's referral link — not selectable |
| Exchange-pays (free) | Sign up on Blofin or Bitunix through Crodl's referral link, connect that account's API key for automatic verification, then keep $100k of trading volume per rolling 30 days (your first 30 days act as the ramp-up window) |
Visit Membership for details on available plans.
